Groomer
Barbara has been grooming since 2019. She interned as a pet stylist in her home state of Pennsylvania and received her Professional Groomer certification (with honors) from the ABC Behavior College in January 2021, shortly after retiring from her Environmental Engineering career of over 30 years. Barbara made a permanent move to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in November 2021, working initially at a local grooming salon. She joined the team at Lifetime Veterinary Center in July 2022, where she continues to transform your pups from doggone dirty to doggone dazzling, customizing her grooms to what is ideal for both the pet parents and their fur babies. Barbara always has her client’s best interest at heart, using techniques proven most effective based on coat condition and breed standards. She truly appreciates having the capable staff on hand at Lifetime for the safety and well-being of her clients.
Barbara has owned dogs her whole life, mostly rescues, and adores her Australian cattle dog/Border collie mix Zoey, her forever fur baby and best buddy. In her free time, she enjoys water aerobics, pickleball, golf and volunteering at a local sea turtle rescue center. Barbara left her lovely Hanoverian mare behind when she relocated to Florida, having trained in dressage and shown horses competitively for many years. She hopes to return to the show ring in the not too distant future.
